Program Night: Publishing Romance

February 18 @ 5:15 PM - 8:00 PM

$45 – $75

The Book Industry Guild of New York’s upcoming program, “Publishing Romance: Redefining What Love Looks Like,” will be a celebration of diverse romance stories and how the publishing industry makes sure everyone gets a happily-ever-after.

As we see more books around the LGBTQ+ community, characters of color, characters living with disabilities, and more, this panel will discuss how romance stories are evolving. With the successful sales of American Dreamer (Harlequin), The Kiss Quotient (Berkley), and The Wedding Date (Berkley), our guests are among the leading voices in creating sexy, heartfelt, and inclusive stories.

Speakers include Adriana Herrera (Author; president of the RWA-NYC), Cindy Hwang (VP & editorial director, Berkley), Kristine Swartz (senior editor, Berkley), and Kimberly Lionetti (senior literary agent, BookEnds). The panel will be moderated by Phoebe Cramer (associate reviews editor, Publishers Weekly).

Online sales are now closed. Admission will be available at the door.
